Check Your Mailbox, The Next Child Tax Credit Payment May Be A Paper Check

Another round of Child Tax Credit payments is expected to go out Friday, August 13⁠—but you'll want to check the mailbox.

Due to a technical error, the Treasury Department says about 15% of the families that received a payment via direct deposit in July will receive a paper check this month.

The error is expected to be resolved by September.

A total of $15 billion will be paid out in August, to the familes of more than 61 million children.
