It may be a little-known fact but Drake wanted to remix Kid Cudi’s “Day N’ Nite” back in 2007. The two rappers were once good friends, Drake even appeared in Cudi’s 2009 video for ‘Pursuit and Happiness’.
Cudi has gone on record as saying that if Drake would’ve gotten on the remix then the song wouldn’t have been as big as it was.
Drake and Cudi fell out behind Kanye West with the beef coming to a head in 2016 after Cudi’s comments on Twitter about Drake and with the release of Drake’s song “Two Birds, One Stone,”
“You were the man on the moon/Now you just go through phases/Life of the angry and famous.” Drake and Cudi still aren’t talking and “Day N’ Nite” never got an official remix.
